hey! i’m carolyn.
i’m a writer, comedian, actor, and singer currently based out of los angeles. after moving from the bay area to chicago, i went to the theatre school at depaul university, where i ran the university’s satire magazine and performed in plays, sketch shows, and musicals.
shortly after graduation, i got accepted to second city’s conservatory program and hired as a contributor for the onion. i did multiple national tours to cut my teeth in the theatre world (including at the kennedy center!) and made my first TV appearance.
most recently, i’ve written a full-length play called troubled girls (sheLA semifinalist), sung in a national commercial, written headlines for reductress, and have done voiceover work for netflix. check this page to stay updated on my new projects!
